Epica - Design Your Universe

Epica surge del nombre del album de Kamelot, cuando Mark Jansen abandona After Forever debido a diferencias creativas. En sus inicios Epica iba bajo el nombre de Sahara Dust y fue en 2003 que cambiaron su nombre al actual.

La hermosa Simone, quien es vocalista de esta magnífica banda ha tenido varias apariciones con la banda Kamelot, que como sabemos tienen una muy buena relación, incluso Roy Khan participó en un album de Epica (sino es que en más).

Un album que no deja nada que desear, ya conocemos la bella voz de Simone y los cantos guturales y coros que le acompañan haciendo una armonía perfecta. La canción White Waters cuenta con la participación de Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica).

Dark Princess - Zhestokaya Igra

Un gothic bastante bueno, no es mi género pero este material en particular fue de mi agrado, disculpen pero como podrán ver el tracklist esta en ruso, más que nada para conservarlo tal y como es no puse el tracklist en inglés, bueno por flojera en realidad!! Chequenlo, es bastante bueno y con la voz de esta hermosisima señorita pues mejor aún.

Les dejo este material que para mi gusto es muy bueno y es de mis bandas favoritas. Tal vez sea cierto que se han hecho mas comerciales, pero eso no me quita a mi el gusto de escuchar la potente voz de Dani Filth.

Sopor Aeternus & The Ensamble of Shadows - Nenia C'Allahdan

Pasando a dejar el primer aporte del dia. Sopor Aeternus no es en realidad una agrupación, sino un solo miembro: Anna-Varney, quien ha reflejado a lo largo de su extensa discografia, el deseo de ser mujer. Anna-Varney es el unico miembro "humano" en esta agrupación, ya que Anna-Varney afirma que esta rodeada de un grupo de espíritus llamados The Ensamble of Shadows quienes se encargan de darle su inspiración para lograr magnificas obras que en este album pueden empezar a degustar. Son melodías un tanto tristes, bastante llegadoras, se los recomiendo, un buen album para tener en su coleccion privada.
